In the northern reaches of the Okavango Delta, your basecamp is at the meeting point of two major elephant corridors.
Herds of elephant travel great distances to the floodplains in search of water during the dry winter months. Converging migratory routes bring many herds together in the same narrow strip, inspiring the name for this special place:
Basecamp: Jumbo Junction
Jumbo Junction offers a combination of 6 luxury tented units and comfortable chalets, each with its own en-suite bathroom and options of twin or double beds. All have dedicated fire-heated hot water systems, which are lit in the evenings and early in the mornings.
Enjoy a wonderful entertainment and dining area that overlooks the floodplains and is perfect to watch golden sunrises. The jetty out front allows easy access to the Delta and water-based activities.
Mobile Safari Campsites
During our mobile camps, we overnight at temporary campsites in the bush. Decorated tents, the shower, the toilet and the kitchen is built and removed for every safari. Our chef joins us to prepare our meals, but the WiFi stays at base camp.
